Sustainability
Ama-vi aims to enhance materials and produce zero waste.

Renew things
I collect and transform broken objects, discarded clothes, bags, umbrellas, costume jewelry and much more. There are many items that can be renewed without having to go through a new industrial cycle. Thanks to manual labor and creativity, these materials find a new life and a new purpose, combining past and present in unique creations

Fabrics
Textile processing often generates a significant amount of waste, of various sizes. Minimizing the production of these waste materials is a key goal for this brand.
I prefer natural fibers, although the availability of recovered materials may also include polyester or other synthetic materials.
To evaluate the quality of fabrics and to recognize their composition, I use observation techniques, including the combustion test, aware that it represents a necessarily approximate estimate. This approach allows me, however, to identify organic fibers and choose the most suitable materials for each creation, maintaining a balance between sustainability and practicality.

Fabric selection
Recovering materials requires a lot of effort and care: sometimes the donations I receive are of excellent quality, other times they require careful selection. I integrate discarded garments with carefully chosen new fabrics. When I purchase new fabrics, I focus on leftover materials or materials discarded by industrial and high fashion supply chains. This allows me to offer quality fabrics, often natural, that guarantee maximum comfort to those who wear them. It is always advisable to check the materials specified for each creation, for a more informed choice.
